These are the terms for using MemoJog ("we", "us", "the Service"), a WhatsApp-based reminder assistant. By messaging the bot, you agree to them. Like our privacy policy, this is written to match what the product actually does, not generic boilerplate.

MemoJog lets you create reminders by messaging a WhatsApp number in plain language, and sends you (or someone else you name, see Section 4) a notification at the right time. We provide it with reasonable care and skill, but it depends on services we don't control (Section 7), so it can't be guaranteed to be uninterrupted or error-free.
You must meet WhatsApp's own minimum age requirement (currently 13, or higher where local law requires) to use the Service, and you must be 18 or over to buy a subscription.

We may suspend or end access for anyone violating this section, with notice where we reasonably can, and without notice where the breach is serious.
If you set a reminder for someone else, you're responsible for having a legitimate reason to contact them and for the accuracy of what you tell us about them (their name, number, and the reminder content). You can only set a reminder for someone who already uses MemoJog, and they have to accept it before it is created. MemoJog does not message anyone who hasn't messaged it first. See our privacy policy Section 5 for how that data is handled.
MemoJog depends on WhatsApp's platform, third-party AI services for understanding your messages (see our privacy policy Section 3), and our own infrastructure, any of which can fail, be delayed, or misinterpret what you meant. Do not rely on MemoJog for anything safety-critical, medical (including taking medication), legal, or otherwise high-stakes always keep an independent way of tracking time-sensitive or critical obligations. MemoJog is not a medical service or medical device.
You keep ownership of what you send us. Using the Service means giving us permission to store and process that content (and, where you've set a reminder for someone else, their name/number) solely to provide the Service, as described in our privacy policy.
The Service relies on Meta/WhatsApp, Anthropic, OpenAI, Stripe, and Railway (see our privacy policy Section 3). We aren't responsible for outages, policy changes, or failures on their end that affect MemoJog, though we'll do our best to keep things running and communicate major disruptions.
Free trial. New users get a free 7-day trial of everything in MemoJog, with no card needed. The trial starts the first time you try to create a reminder. During the trial you can create up to 15 reminders. When the trial ends, we'll ask you to subscribe if you want to keep creating reminders. Nothing is charged unless you choose to subscribe.
MemoJog Plus. Plus is a monthly subscription that lets you keep creating reminders after the trial, including reminders for other people.
Cancelling. You can cancel at any time: message "cancel subscription" to MemoJog on WhatsApp and it will send you a link to cancel, update your card or see your invoices. If you cancel, you keep Plus until the end of the month you've already paid for, and you won't be charged again.
Refunds and your 14-day right to cancel. If you're a consumer, you can change your mind and cancel within 14 days of first subscribing and we'll refund you in full, just email info@memojog.com. After that, we don't give refunds for part-months you've already paid for, but you can still cancel at any time to stop future charges. This doesn't affect your legal rights, including if the Service isn't as described or isn't provided with reasonable care and skill.
Changing prices. We'll tell you at least 30 days before a price or allowance change takes effect for your subscription, and you can cancel before it does. If a feature you already use for free moves behind a paid plan, we'll give at least 30 days' notice for your account too.
You can stop using MemoJog at any time by no longer messaging it, and you can delete all your data by telling it "delete all my data" (which also cancels any subscription). We may suspend or end your access for breaking Section 3, or if we discontinue the Service, we'll give notice for the latter where practical, and refund any month you've paid for but can't use.
We're responsible for losses you suffer that are a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for losses that weren't foreseeable, for business losses, or for a missed, late or mis-scheduled reminder caused by things outside our control (see Sections 5 and 7).
Our total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of the Service is limited to the greater of £50 or the amount you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose. Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that can't legally be limited, and nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction, except that if you're a consumer living elsewhere in the UK or in another country, you keep any mandatory protections and rights to bring a claim in your local courts.
We'll update this document as the product changes and post the new effective date at the top. For material changes, we'll send a one-time WhatsApp message to active users pointing at the update, same approach as our privacy policy Section 10.
